Volkswagen has come up with a “fresh” idea in the automotive industry, the Blue Motion. “Think Blue” is not just an idea and slogan to them...
“It’s a philosophy. Much like a Volkswagens Blue Motion Technology. Think Blue is based on a powerful idea: that small changes can truly make a big difference”.
Volkswagen is embracing the elegance of life in the automotive perceptive; that we now can hope will inspire others who have the same goals as VW.
According to the brochure “Think Blue” is the over-arching brand ambition that encompasses Volkswagen’s efficient technologies such as TSI, TDI, DSG, and Blue Motion Technology.”
By involving yourself in this “Motion”, you save Fuel, and you save Money. The Blue Motion badge identifies cleanest, most energy-efficient cars in the Volkswagen range. It all begins in the stop-start technology and improved aerodynamics, to low rolling resistance tyres and recuperation from braking their innovative energy saving technologies work together with advanced engines and gear-boxes to lower fuel consumptions and reduces harmful emissions according to the brochure.
If you care about protecting the environment, remember to “Think Blue”. |
TDI Diesel Engines
Volkswagen Turbocharged Direct Injection (TDI) diesel engines are efficient, responsive and high performance. A highly efficient diesel particulate filter traps even the finest carbon particles produced by the engine burning diesel fuel, while the common-rail direct injection ensures the quickest, smoothest drive.
TSI Petrol Engines
The award-winning Turbocharged Stratified Injection (TSI) petrol engines means, “You no-longer have to choose between performance and economy”.
A direct petrol engine is combined with a turbocharged or a supercharged combination. This enhances the engine’s combustion efficiency, making the TSI engine power output much higher than that of conventional, naturally aspirated engines.
