The Volkswagen Polo R-Line Edition

Looks Really mean, looks Really Furious it's the Polo R.

There was so much hype on the city car the Polo GTI and the Beetle R concept, now Volkswagen has surprised all its Fans at the IAA 2011 Frankfurt unveiling both the driveable Polo R WRC Rally Car and the highly anticipated Polo R-line.
Volkswagen has introduced the R-line styling package. The Polo R has more of that sophisticated sporty perceptive than the Polo GTI, with an additional side kit bigger and better than the GTI, but the R-line is based on the specification of the Polo Match and is available in both three and five-door body styles but fitted with only one engine, while the GTI is powered by turbo-supercharged 1.4-liter TSI petrol pushing a respectable 135Kw and maximum of 250Nm very impressive for a engine its size, the Polo R is mounted with a 1.6-litre TSI petrol engine pushing 160Kw linked to a six-speed manual gearbox.
Don't get to excited, the Polo R-line isn't a Fire breathing 300bhp (220.65Kw) road-going version of the Polo R WRC Rally Car, its rather stylish model to show what such a car might look or bring to the streets.

The R-line shares that elegant chin with the Glof and Scirocco R, the glossy black raditor grille with R-line badge makes the Polo look and Feel fierce.
But I'm sure that the R-line performance better than the GTI, seeing the specifications although they share the same engines, the R-line has more powwer than the GTI with an added 25Kw more that's some tick motion for you. Unlike the all-wheel-drive of the Golf R, the Polo R maintains the hatch's front-wheel-drive layout.
According to the Volkswagens brochure; the TSI engine propels the Polo R-line to 62mph (100km/h) in just 9.7 seconds en route to a top speed of 118mph (190km/h), while returning a combined fuel economy of 53.3 mpg UK and C02 emissions of 124g/km.
