According to the brochure, the TDI engines deliver exceptional fuel economy and are also supremely quiet. The latest common rail diesel technology provides impressive torque throughout the rev range with the added benefit of low fuel consumption. The TDI engine range includes, the 1.6 77Kilowatts TDI manual, 1.6 77Kilowatts DSG and the high performance 2.0litre 103Kilowatts TDI manual. Jetta delivers an exhilarant drive drawing on the best attributes of German under skin engineering.

Ferrari's Answer to Performance

By: Bruce Mbingeleli
When we thought that Ferrari ran out of powerful ideas it has just unveiled at Geneva Motor Show, the 2013 'F12 Berlinetta' by Ferrari, they claim it is the fastest road car the company has ever produced.
The F12 attains 100km/hr in 3.1 seconds or 200km/hr in just 8.5 seconds, with a maximum speed of over 211mph (340km/hr) with 509-lb-ft (689Nm) of maximum torque. The vehicle is set to replace the company's 599 GTB 'Fiorano' on the production lines as Ferrari mansions in the brochure.
F12 Berlinetta employs a new chassis design, with internal architecture comprised of various aluminium materials and utilizing, aeronautics industry technologies to decrease weight and improve structural rigidity.
The vehicle is also more than twice as aerodynamically efficient as its predecessor, reducing down force and drag via a redesigned hood
(Which channels air away from the top of the car); and employing active brake cooling (whereby the gates of front brake cooling system
Are only opened when necessary, based on the operating temperature).
Visually the car is shorter and more low-riding, as well as 70kg lighter than the 'fiorano'. As a combined effect of its lighter weight
And improved aerodynamics, the 'F12 Berlinetta' reduces fuel consumption by 30%, and produces relatively low carbon dioxide emissions, for a high-performance sports car, at 350g/km. its V12 engine is designed similarly to Ferrari’s F1 engines to ensure rapid acceleration
.
Fuel Consumption - 15 l/100 km
Emissions -350 g CO2/km

VW’s Blue Motion Innovation

Volkswagen has come up with a “fresh” idea in the automotive industry, the Blue Motion. “Think Blue” is not just an idea and slogan to them...
“It’s a philosophy. Much like a Volkswagens Blue Motion Technology. Think Blue is based on a powerful idea: that small changes can truly make a big difference”.
Volkswagen is embracing the elegance of life in the automotive perceptive; that we now can hope will inspire others who have the same goals as VW.
According to the brochure “Think Blue” is the over-arching brand ambition that encompasses Volkswagen’s efficient technologies such as TSI, TDI, DSG, and Blue Motion Technology.”
By involving yourself in this “Motion”, you save Fuel, and you save Money. The Blue Motion badge identifies cleanest, most energy-efficient cars in the Volkswagen range. It all begins in the stop-start technology and improved aerodynamics, to low rolling resistance tyres and recuperation from braking their innovative energy saving technologies work together with advanced engines and gear-boxes to lower fuel consumptions and reduces harmful emissions according to the brochure.

If you care about protecting the environment, remember to Think Blue”.

TDI Diesel Engines
Volkswagen Turbocharged Direct Injection (TDI) diesel engines are efficient, responsive and high performance. A highly efficient diesel particulate filter traps even the finest carbon particles produced by the engine burning diesel fuel, while the common-rail direct injection ensures the quickest, smoothest drive.
TSI Petrol Engines
The award-winning Turbocharged Stratified Injection (TSI) petrol engines means, “You no-longer have to choose between performance and economy”.
A direct petrol engine is combined with a turbocharged or a supercharged combination. This enhances the engine’s combustion efficiency, making the TSI engine power output much higher than that of conventional, naturally aspirated engines.

The Volkswagen Polo R-Line Edition

Looks Really mean, looks Really Furious it's the Polo R.

By: Bruce Mbingeleli
There was so much hype on the city car the Polo GTI and the Beetle R concept, now Volkswagen has surprised all its Fans at the IAA 2011 Frankfurt unveiling both the driveable Polo R WRC Rally Car and the highly anticipated Polo R-line.
Volkswagen has introduced the R-line styling package. The Polo R has more of that sophisticated sporty perceptive than the Polo GTI, with an additional side kit bigger and better than the GTI, but the R-line is based on the specification of the Polo Match and is available in both three and five-door body styles but fitted with only one engine, while the GTI is powered by turbo-supercharged 1.4-liter TSI petrol pushing a respectable 135Kw and maximum of 250Nm very impressive for a engine its size, the Polo R is mounted with a 1.6-litre TSI petrol engine pushing 160Kw linked to a six-speed manual gearbox.
Don't get to excited, the Polo R-line isn't a Fire breathing 300bhp (220.65Kw) road-going version of the Polo R WRC Rally Car, its rather stylish model to show what such a car might look or bring to the streets.

The R-line shares that elegant chin with the Glof and Scirocco R, the glossy black raditor grille with R-line badge makes the Polo look and Feel fierce.
But I'm sure that the R-line performance better than the GTI, seeing the specifications although they share the same engines, the R-line has more powwer than the GTI with an added 25Kw more that's some tick motion for you. Unlike the all-wheel-drive of the Golf R, the Polo R maintains the hatch's front-wheel-drive layout.
According to the Volkswagens brochure; the TSI engine propels the Polo R-line to 62mph (100km/h) in just 9.7 seconds en route to a top speed of 118mph (190km/h), while returning a combined fuel economy of 53.3 mpg UK and C02 emissions of 124g/km.
